Philip Brodie was born in Redhill Surrey, but spent his formative years in Canterbury Kent. He studied at Dartington College of arts in Devon where he gained a BAhons in Theatre. After graduating he toured two plays in the north of England for a year before moving to London aged 22. He immediately got involved with an improvised comedy project 'real-lies' where he met Gareth Tunley. Together they formed 'The Legenedary Polowski' and worked the stand-up circuit in London. During their three year collaboration, they produced two shows which they took to the Edinburgh festival, selling out both years.

During this period Philip also worked on a number of theatre projects focusing on new writing. He then co-wrote and acted in a one man show, 'Tailor Made Love' to critical acclaim. After excelling in theatre he moved effortlessly into TV & Film. He acted in a number of different sitcoms and sketch shows. Philip then starred in Dream Team, a drama set around a fictious football club, playing the star player & eventually the manager of the team. After two seasons he decided to leave the show. Since leaving he has appeared in various dramas and comedies, 'Wire in the Blood', 'The last Flight to Kuwait' , 'Broken News' , 'Merlin' & 'Miranda' to name a few.
